Hey T are ya Bored?

You all remember our brave friend Ty
Well he is back in PA. The tumor is back and lets take a minute to add to this post to help him cheer up and him through the looooooooooooong days.

So Ty how much do you really KNOW about the great state of Pennsylvania? Oh Sure they have the Liberty Bell

but Did you know this?
Here are some laws that are still on the law books. You may want to alert your Mom and Dad

It it illegal to sleep on top of a refrigerator outdoors. (Ok Tell your nurse you have changed your mind about sleeping outside tonight in a 'fridge).

Any motorist driving along a country road at night must stop every mile and send up a rocket signal, wait 10 minutes for the road to be cleared of livestock, and continue. ( Did your Dad bring flares)?

A special cleaning ordinance bans housewives from hiding dirt and dust under a rug in a dwelling. ( oops)

A person is not eligible to become Governor if he/she has participated in a duel.(You better put away those Pokemon and Yugi oh Cards)

Any motorist who sights a team of horses coming toward him must pull well off the road, cover his car with a blanket or canvas that blends with the countryside, and let the horses pass.

Motorized vehicles are not to be sold on Sundays.
You may not catch a fish with your hands.
You may not catch a fish by any body part except the mouth. (Yum)
Dynamite is not to be used to catch fish. ( Dang I lost my pole)
Though you do not need a fishing license to fish on your own land, but a hunting license is required to hunt on your own land.

Aren't you glad your Dr isn't him?

Just so you know....There are few people in the world as brave as you. You are like Daniel

We love you T

Here are a few more facts for you Ty:

Pennsylvania leads all other states in the manufacture of pretzels and potato chips.

The U.S. chocolate industry is centered in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

"Just Born" is located in Bethlehem, PA, are the makers of Hot Tamales, Mike and Ikes, and the Easter favorite marshmallow Peeps.

And to keep your teachers happy, you can tell them that you know that Pennsylvania was the 2nd state admitted to the union December 12, 1787.

Prayers and good wishes for you Ty! Get well soon!

Roo in Colorado :-)
