Thanksgiving 2011

It wasn't the perfect Norman Rockwell of a Thanksgiving but it was overall pretty great. We enjoyed delicious food, wonderful times as a family, fought a little but loved abundantly. Here are some of the weaker highlights. I was too busy cooking to take pictures of the spread.

It started off Wednesday with pie making. Susan, joined us in making a lot a lot of pies.

Here are two personal take home pies that Emma made for Uncle Patrick and Grandpa to enjoy at home.

Everything for the appetizers and the dinner came together nicely....do you care what we ate? Here's a run down:
Appetizers: meatballs and dipping sauce, chips/dip, salsa , pickle/olive platter, crackers and cheese, cheese whiz( ick- but fun) and rye bread bowl.
Dinner: Turkey, fruit salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, broccoli/cheese, steamed carrots, green salad, green bean casserole, yams, cranberry sauce, olives and pies for dessert.

We were able to Skype these wonderful cuties I love in Spain
Happy Birthday Drake!

and in Idaho this wonderful family.
Becca cooked a Thanksgiving meal herself!

We started the First Annual Williams' Pictionary Tournament.
Team SusanBenRileyVictor stomped the competition.

Radar (top) and Florida (bottom).

We thought we had the advantage with Grandpa because he is a mechanical engineer.

Here is his idea of 'health food'. Love it!

Team HannahAndrewSarahSeth's interpretation of 'overboard' and 'weed'.

We have a lot of blessings to be thankful for.
