Emma and I are taking a cake decorating class together. It was one of her Christmas presents. We are having fun. Surprisingly there are other young kids in teh class, although Emma is the youngest.
We have a test in class tomorrow on how to frost a cake smooth and make stars. Here is our first practice. The cake was a yummy white cake with chocolate filling. Frosting was a robin blue with green stars(Emma picked). 
We will do one more practice before tomorrow's "test".
I am not eating it....I am not eating it....I am not eating it... So long New years resolutions.
Our whole family loves that we are taking this class and they get to be the testers :)

What a neat gift, for both of you. A great way for you to spend time together. Maybe she'll become the next great cake decorator...AKA - Ace of Cakes!
