Walk Discussion

Andrew and I took Ruby for a walk today. He talked the WHOLE time and here are some of his big ideas. He amazes me!

Andrew: Mom see how there are not many birds singing...but there are a lot of crickets and locust being loud. That is because the birds are saving their energy to fly some where else for the winter. In the Spring they are happy to be home so they tweet and tweet a lot , but now the bugs are telling them summer is almost over."

Me:Who told you that Andrew?
Andrew: I just looked around my whole life and noticed it.


Andrew: (after seeing road kill) We really need to talk to those critters Mom about teaching their cubs not to go so close to the road......maybe their teachers at critter school should have a class or something. I know we could have a laser that you can't see BUUUUUUUT when they get close to the road- it makes a fence.


Andrew: Mom my legs are tired. I wish your could push a button on your keys that would start the car and it could track us- then drive to us to find us. Maybe have a water bottle ready too
