Longest Post Ever.... Got to Catch up

So as I sit here in my 62 F degree house under a down blanket and quilt, I am hiding from Christmas Break. Christmas Break was much more fun when I was a kid. Anyways our programmable thermostat broke at the night time temp and so now we are all energy saving while wearing our parkas. Nice. It should be fixed today.

Soo Here are the latest. I am walking you through the pictures that were on my camera and Blackberry....I know I could use photo bucket and what not but..no don't want to. Just going to talk through it.
BTW thank you George -if you are reading this- the little plug in thing to my computer worked EXCELLENTLY!!!!


This is Andrew and Ben living a dream!!!!! We went to get some roofing and a man in the parking lot allowed them to climb all over this!!!!

Baby Serenity was born in June to Becca and Greg. We love our new cousin.

Here is another cute picture of her, but Deborah did the best photo shoot for The Rowes.


Andrew Graduated from Preschool, but the bad mother I am, we went to the wrong time. I was told to show up in the morning....so he graduated with the morning class. He was NOT happy.



Andrew started school this year. The first day for him was also his 5 th birthday. It was a special day! Parents went the first day and here are some highlights.

Andrew turned 5 and here are some highlights. He wanted an Angel Moroni, Liahona, Pinata remote control car and of course, Science.

Scott worked late and was woken up by excited kids for his birthday.

In Nov, Alex was asked to come down to SVU again...this time they paid. We took the whole family down for a mini vacation. It was the weekend of Hannah's and my birthday.
I think it is interesting that the family who bought the college in the 1990 to make it an LDS type college in the East are the Knight Family. The mascot is , of course, a Knight. This is to symbolize the Amour of God.
However, the town Buena Vista was first seen by English Settlers in 1716 by Virginia Governor Spottswood and a company of explorers, the Knights of the Golden Horseshoe


More Highlights
Alex tried out and got on the Basketball team and Lacrosse team. Becca and Serenity Came and it was sooo fun. She is the perfect baby and enjoyed all the sight too





As a family, while Alex was doing his college stuff, we went to Natural Bridge
It was beautiful!!! We explored the paths, climbed rocks, went to the Monacan Indian Village, wax museum, toy museum and explored caves











Serena thought the guy talked too much.




I am not a fan of Wax Museums. I think they are creepy and have weird models, but the kids wanted to do it all. RUN EMMA !!!

The Caves


They close the caves they week after we were there, because a mere 30,000 bats fly in for the winter. This one didn't get the memo and was a week early.

One of the biggest thrill for the kids was going to a hotel!!
And the hotel had a swimming pool!!!!!

Ben is 2 and a fearless swimmer. Yes he can swim underwater. He hates that I force him to wear the bubble.

Serena didn't like it...


but Sarah made her feel better. Isn't the cutest little swimsuit!

Why I didn't get a lot of sleep..bed hog.

We went house hunting..til the sheriff came.
