I got a cast today

Pretty eh?
Ok Here is the story. As much as I LOVE Kerrianna, I don't have a exciting story like hers. I do have sympathy for her, but not enough to copy her. I promise to eat carrots tho if it helps her get better.
So you all remember in Dec I did a triathlon. After my foot ached and it got worse. Well long story short I ripped my Plantar Fasciitas in three places. I didn't know and started training for my next one.
When I did go to the Drs, we started everything: taping, stretching exercise, arch supports, massage, injections of cortizone and ibprophen, etc. I even had to take frozen tennis balls and roll them under my arch.
He wanted to stay off it for three months, ya right.
My extremely high arch started to fall and my archillis tendendon started to get in trouble and this bubble thing too .
I like having feet and especially feet with out pain, so I agreed to a cast.
It will be on for one month and then we will see. I think that my running and tri days are over- so I am continuing with swimming....well after the cast is off.
I love running. Well I hate it too
There is nothing like running with some one and being in perfect time.
Matt and I have the same pace.
Getting all sweaty and pushing the limits.

There is a huge hill near my house that we can see down town with. One day Jessica rode her bike as I tried once again to make it to the top. I had been working that hill for TWO WEEKS. If I could just get by one more tree or one more telephone pole....
With Jessica cheering me on we did it.
I like my feet.
So that is my cast story.
Oh BTw here's to my pedicure team

Is this a sympathy cast for Kerianna? Although it is the wrong foot... and she doesn't have a cast... oh yes, and I'm sure her toe nails are not painted. Are we going to hear the story?

Oh goodness. I had plantar facitis when I was 14, and it was terrible! Until then I had been a long distance runner. Not after that. It was painful. Stay off it and get better!

Heather, that really sucks, but your toes look lovely.

So sorry Heather. No fun. Running injuries are so frustrating.
Swimming is great exercise- and it's much harder to get injuries in the pool. Is swimming more enjoyable to you now? Well, before the cast I mean?
