He entered the chapel to the theme song of Rocky. Nothing could have been more fitting.
Didn't know until it was too late, but Zach has died.
People came from all over to publicly thank the man...giant... who changed our world.
Here is more.
I never got to tell him thank you and that he inspired me- like so many others. He helped me do the triathlon. Being the fat girl all my life, I thought I had excuses. I realized I had no excuse.
Every day is a gift and I was wasting time. Time I took for granted.
Thank you Zach for making me a better person.
David Bar Tzur was an interpreter with me at RIT. Along with Marc Clark, and Marilyn Mitchell, he was one probably the most influential educators in my interpreting career. All three as mentors and as peers. David passed unexpectedly, but peacefully, in his sleep recently. Again, I never had the chance to say thank you. Thank you David for giving me.....helping me improve on a career that that has blessed my life and the lives of my family in soooo many ways.
Thank you.
