Furnace woes

We had a winter storm last night and I went to bed cold.
The night before I had turned the furnace up during the cold snap, and yesterday turned it down. No problem I thought I had just turned it down too low.
I threw another blanket on the kids and I was fine our my down flannel.
Wrong.
We woke up to a VERY VERY VERY cold house. The furnace (installed new 9 yrs ago) was not working.
We got the wood stove working( as usual), and moved life in to the family room until things started to heat up.

Scott went to work to get it fixed.

By the time I got back from taking Matt to work, Scott not only had fixed the problem, he had a new digital thermostat that we had been meaning to installed and programmed. Things are back to normal and toasty.

Isn't it great that Scott is so handy with a screwdriver?
