"Baby its cold outside...." Here are some indoor activities we have been up to in reverse order
Valentines for classes. I posted a vote on Facebook and made the one with the fewest votes. Why? Well I wanted to make a rocket and I explained to Andrew how cool they were. I told him how we would wrap a roll of Life Savers .....except he has no idea what Life Savers are and he THOUGHT I said light saber...after that the disappointed was too much.
The ipod won and the assembly line started

Even Hannah helped :)
We have memberships to the local museums. It is cheaper for our family to buy a whole year membership than go once. Much to the Museums' dismay,we go a lot.

The Rochester Museum and Science Center currently has Dinosaurs there and they are amazzzzzzzing!!!! We spent a few hours there on a brrrrr Saturday and loved it!
Their eyes look at you...like prey...you know that tilt your head to get a better look at you before I am going to eat you look....yeah that. Impressive. This T-Rex is there as you enter. He is over two stories tall. Ben was fascinated and leery. He was watching until the T-Rex moved. Ben ran behind my legs and when it screamed, he ran to Scott, pulled his Dad to safety. So sweet
They were very realistic, even down to the hatching eggs.

Of course Andrew was VERY interested in how they worked. Here he is helping show Ben that they are just big robots they both can"drive."
Andrew also LOOOOVED the archeological dig part
Strong Museum of Play is another fun place to escape the cold. Here Hannah and Ben are virtual racing. It is cute to me that Ben, no matter where he goes, wants to show Alex via cell phone pictures.
This is a picture I had to send to Alex at college showing him that Ben has a car too.
The older girls love hanging out with the neighbors.
Emma and I took a cake decorating class at Joanne Fabrics. Very fun. We practiced so much that our family is sick of cake. Emma is great at it....me not so much.
Emma's pom-pom flower

Heidi is such a lady..She sits with her legs crossed(ignore the eyes)
Remember this? Makes me giggle even more with the hair.
Ben was vvvvverrrry sick. There were days he couldn't walk. He had asthma that turned into bronchitics that turned into pneumonia. The doctors were so concentrated on his lungs and breathing,(pretty important)they missed the strep. After a better round of antibiotics and nebs, we were good to go. I have to say. I may not have a medical degree, but I have some experience. I have NEVER seen a child of mine (or any in my care) so sick.
My sister Lisa came to pick up Matt. I don't know what they are doing but Ben loves this picture.
Seth turned 12 and is a Deacon!
Grampa had a birthday too and this was my second attempt in ganash(sp?). SOOOOOO yummy and easy. BIG HIT.

This is something interesting Scott and I saw on a date. There are made out of Rochester Newspapers.
Another cool place we went went on a date.
