Williams Gazette-2010 Year in Review

Big Man on Campus

We experienced sending their first born to college. Alex graduated from PHS and is going to The Bigg Southern University. Moving away, living on your own, grades, old friends, new friends, grades, room mates, grades, basketball and LAX, a missing personality from the family, being far away...TRANSITIONS!!! TRANSITIONS!!!! TRANSITIONS!!!!! It's all new, but we will get it.

School Boy goes Middle
Cobbles has lost one of their finest. But as they say one school's loss, is another school's gain. Middle School is a great adventure for Seth. Old friends, new friends, grades, locker combinations, grades, home base vs home room, grades, clubs....TRANSITIONS!!! TRANSITIONS!!!! TRANSITIONS!!!!! It's all new, but HE ROCKED IT.

Important Return

Matt returned home. He is an important part of our lives. He gets into things..ie Halloween, to give others joy. We love him...and will miss him when he goes back to live in VA with his Mom and sister.

Road Hazard
Attention Drivers!!!!! There is a new Driver on the roads. Sarah turned 16 and has her permit....Be Alert and STOP texting! Our precious cargo is on the road.

In Sports News

Hannah, Sarah, Heather and Grandpa Joe ran/race walked the House of Mercy 5K. Heather was one of the key organizers of the race. Hannah ran the WHOLE race. Grandpa Joe (77 yrs) and Sarah weren't far behind. Joe won first place in his age class.

More Sports News

Andrew started cluster ball, more commonly known as soccer. Summer of 2010's Orange team rocked the REC fields.

TRAVEL

We were able to spend some time in historic places, on a sunny beach and where blue skies are endless. 2010 Brought the Williams on adventures.

Bienvenido Visitante

We welcomed many friends and family into our home this year. The Rikers were in The HillCumorah Pageant and we were able to spend a day or two with us F U N!!In July - Aug, Meadow and her kids made her trek here to Zion from UT YAY YAY! FAMILIA from Spain arrived Oct into Nov and it was a wonderful treat!!!!! We rounded the fall off with Al Clark. He has been a friend our Scott's since elementary school and Heather's since her teens.

Wet & Wild
A man came to our door asking to rent a ladder that was not put away. He has a power washing business. Scott spent Spring/Summer 2010 and part of the Fall learning the trade. Scott and Alex have launched a new business. Look to them for your Power washing /Gutter/ Deck cleaning needs this Spring. By the way, this not our logo ours is at the printer :) Stay tuned for updates..........

Good Byes

Unfortunately 2010 required some hard good-byes. Retirement allowed our long time beloved neighbors to move to where they say the sun actually shines two days or more....IN A ROW. Grandma and Grandpa J (affectionately know to us) have left and started their next chapter of adventures.
Thunder a good and faithful pal of Heather's and a loyal pet to the family passed away in the late summer.... leaving us extremely sad and Ruby never the same.... Ruby also passed away a short time later. Now we like to think they are playing either Frisbee /Kong in Heaven and when you hear that rolling Thunder ...you will know who is winning ;)

Hellos

This year brought plenty of new members in the Williams home: turtles, chickens and Heidi. Heidi is a good dog. She is playful and sweet.Because she was abused, she is shy at times, but has made huge strides in confidence....now if only she didn't smell so bad.

We also got new neighbors...who are awesome!!!! In the 13 yrs we have lived here, my children have not had playmates around here. Now we do!!! The Hoytes have: a cool Mom and Dad (so do we!), a teen age girl who like to hang out, polish nails, go to math tutoring, and the mall (so do we!!!) a 11ish yr old boy who loves boys scouts, fantasy books, and sword fights (so do WE!!!!!!) , a 8ish yr old girl that loves to sing, giggle, stuff animals, Littlest Pet Shop, and American Girl dolls ( so do WE!!!!!!) and they have a little 5 yr ish boy who loves sword fights, legos, romping, rolling, and tumbling ( we have two boys it that age ish group that love that!!!!!!). We are thrilled to welcome them!!!!!

There you have it !!!! We look forward to an exciting 2011. There are sure to be adventures ahead....there always are with 7 kids ....and a dog :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS!
