Cousins from UT via Bethesda, MD

The UT Clan were able to spend some time with us over this Thanksgiving Holiday. Rachel was accepted into a clinical research trial at the NIH. Kristen,Rachel, and Sarah Beth drove from Bethesda, MD to spend a few days with us. I enjoyed it and the kids LOVED it.
Rachel was enjoyable. I enjoyed her singing. She is happy, and I was able to have several conversations with her, which is something I have never been able to do before. She is in a good phase of her illness and I am glad I was able to be with her while she is. She is a sweet and loving soul, and Kristen is perfect for her

Sarah Beth was loved loved loved by Ben and Andrew.....well all of us. I didn't get to see her much as she was off with a new game in mind

and cousins willing to oblige!

I forgot the name of this game, but it entailed Sarah Beth(in a ski mask that matched her sweater) chasing Andrew and Ben with lots of laughter!!!!

Joe brought over a fake Christmas tree he found in his basement. He tried to give it to Susan but she said no, so I got sloppy seconds. Haha.
We had a good time putting it up as the family room tree. It was interesting to hear Andrew mention this was the "true meaning of Christmas," (seems like I have more work in teaching to do there) while others complained that no fake tree belonged in this house!!!!'
