Local Home fix it stores have FREE classes on Saturday mornings where children can make cool stuff. Today was our first try and we LOVED IT! Home Depot has them on the first of every month and you can just show up or register in the store. Our friends did the fire boat at Home Depot and it was amazing! Lowes you have to register on line
Today Andrew and I went to Lowes where we made a periscope.
It was 30 mins of F U N!!!
I was a little nervous at first because Scott was away at Scout camp and there are people to guide but it is really all you and tools. The instructions were perfectly uncomplicated -with pictures and everything !!!

Both stores give you a mini apron just like the employees wear, googles, a completion certificate with either an award pin or a scout like badge,
along with a fabulous project and an even better time!!!!!!!
