When we moved in, there were these snakes that looked almost identical to rattle snakes. They would coil up and shake their tails at us, but they were missing a rattle.
After research and some really good freak outs, we found out they were harmless Eastern Milk snakes. Back in the day, it was believed they actually sucked milk from the cows utter. They are very predominant in dairy farms
It was unnerving at first.I vowed to remove them, burn them whatever it took!
Until I realized they had a job.
They eat all the mice that come to our house from the surrounding corn fields during harvest.
It turns out, I hate mice more than snakes.
