Varsity

After a week of try outs- three extra days actually.... Alex made the High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team. YAY Alex!!!!! This is a win on so many levels..including academic. He worked his butt off physically and in math with TONS of extra credits. He will now be able to go suit up for the University as a recruit.

He slept pretty much the whole day when it was all over. Well, now it is just beginning.

For those who understand basketball, he will play positions 3, 4, and 5. For those like me, who still have trouble -even after all these years, he plays mainly defense and 3 pt shooter.
There was a lot of good and skilled boys that tried out this year, in fact three boys that have been playing with Alex for years did not make it. One was a left hander and we are still in shock.
