The "Bailout"

I spent the other morning calling people like Nancy Pelosi's office, Harry Reid, John Mc Cain, Barack Obama, my NY "Representatives."

My Congressman voted how I wanted him to. If you want the history as I see them, you can see it on my other blog.
Here are some of the facts of the bill being voted on in the Senate on Wednesday.

The Bill contains

*The Federal Reserve will have a unlimited power and not have to answer to an elected body regarding spending. They have NO accountability, simply a blank check. They don't have that money...they are printing more dollars- thus reducing the value of the dollar.

* 700 billion is not the end amount..it is already up to 750...oops now 757 billion and that is only an installment.

*The bail out is for not only the banks, but for car makers, towns, municipalities and unions(for pensions) FREE MARKET PEOPLE!!!!!

*Europe and "other counties in danger" will be able to tap into this bail out. THye can get their own money thank you.

*The government wants to be able to buy stocks in companies (part of socialism is when government gets involved with business)

*This is not the final answer that will make it all better.

* They have so graciously added a few tax breaks to appease us...or throw us a bone.
*They have added pork like:
>They have added aid to hurricane victims and rural schools
>It also has a requirement of health plans for any companies that have 51 or more employees to give equal treatment to mental health or addiction if they cover such illnesses.

It will cost each tax paying person ~10 k. more a year just for this first installment. You will hear each American man women and child ~$1200. That would be nice if kids, babies and EVERY AMERICAN paid taxes.

All this and we are NOT guaranteed a fix.
