Alyssa

Alyssa is going off to college and this is our last Sunday with her. :(

Alyssa entered our family, over 18 mos ago I think, as a girlfriend to Alex- I liked her from the beginning, but as mothers can get...I was afraid.

In my mind,she was going to take my boy away, so my mama bear claws were always ready to protract. Sorry Alyssa.

One of the first things I remember about her is watching her play football with Alex in our field, and them coming in and playing princess something with Emma.

Alyssa is pretty...beautiful, smart, and fun. Ya' know she is on not only an academic scholarship, but a soccer scholarship too.

She helps Alex be a better person.

I am no longer afraid of her.... I love her.

We had a family dinner in her honor-where we signed our love to her on a pillow case.
Emma wants her to know "every night before she goes to bed, that we love her" and
so do I!

Watch out Slippery Rock, Alyssa is on her way.
Take care of her, 'cuz if you don't.... you will here from us!
