I craved ice cream cake. I had to have it. My body would shake if I didn't have ice cream cake. Scott had to go one night after the store had closed- I called ahead and begged them to let him in to buy one.
I was interpreting a class, a final. I went into labor, my contractions were under ten minutes apart. I tried to hide it because they couldn't find another interpreter. The students knew....I finished the class, went to the hospital, and Sarah was born a few hours later.
That was me pregnant with Sarah.
Sarah Nicole.
I was a nanny for Sara and Nikki for years and I loved and still love them. Scott's grandmother is Sarah "Nina. "
Sarah "Nina" was a master quilter and a daughter of a pioneer. We have a quilt that she made at the age of 81...it was so good-that it hung in a Museum on Springville, UT.
Sarah would sing at a very young age. She could not talk but people recognized the song she was "singing" by her perfect pitch.
At about 6 mos, after a very high fever, Sarah woke up........and her journey of eye surgeries began.
5 not including the botox (she had botox to try to paralyze the muscles so the nerves would have time to rejuvenate...it didn't work)
The doctors said she wouldn't crawl, climb stairs, go through doorways or walk until her eyes were fixed- she proved them ALL wrong and hit every milestone on time or early.
Sarah loved to dress up. She would only wear pink and purple with a hint of pink. FRILLS were a MUST. She would often wear everything in her dresser at once.
I hate that she is wearing make up (" less is more/ less is tasteful")
and is at a church dance...with boys.
I love you very much, Bella!
