Critter

A few nights ago I was in my room, heard a noise and a saw what I thought was a movement. After Scott did some investigating, it was determined I was crazy.

In the very early AM this morning, Thunder burst into my room and chased something under my bed.

Great! Here I am stuck on my bed at 2AM with what I am SURE is a rat under my bed. I had been reading on the LDS Mom Board that a women had a rat problem. I was totally convinced that rat had left UT,made it to NY,and now was under my bed.

In one,not so graceful jump,I made it out of my room, down the stairs, and was yelling for Matt and Scott to save me without waking up Benjamin.

Scott went first and saw the glowing eyes that had now moved to the corner of the room behind the antique hope chest, except the glowing eyes were cute. It was not a rat it was a baby squirrel.

Matt armed himself with a mop and brought back-up brooms for Scott, I handed them a a box to shew the squirrel in then prompty went back to my hiding spot far away in the parlor.

Thunder did his job as Protector(this is where you add the song Taps).

So Scott and Matt did a great job all the while NOT waking up the house-especially Benjamin, and Thunder did his part.Good Dog!

I didn't sleep well, because what if there really WAS a rat under my bed, I mean Scott thought I was crazy a few nights ago and look!!

He said he checked under my bed, but again he said he had checked a few nights ago.
I wasn't buying it.

Now today Thunder is a vey tired dog, because after forcing him under my bed, he had to stay in my room all night. I am sure he is thirsty too, because I didn't let him out to even drink from the toilet until day light

I love big strong boys and Thunder.
