Ours was nice. Really.
Seth and I made pies together Wednesday night. When he got tired Emma took over. I started cooking at 9am for a 2 pm dinner. We were done and dishes in the dishwasher by 3:30pm. That gave us time to chat with Grandpa, discuss why we have Thanksgiving, read the Mayflower Compact, play Apples to Apples and enjoy each other. I even got a nap(oh that turkey that makes you sleepy).Of Course Andrew slept with me, but hey I got an hour...sort of.
We got snow so the kids got out boots and made snowballs. After they pelted the chickens, Thunder and each other, and their hands were red (no didn't take time for gloves)they came in crying and cold. I was way ahead of them and had hot cocoa ready.

Sounds like you guys had a really nice day. Lots of work involved in such a big meal. I'm glad we don't do this every day.
